It’s really eerie in my office building
No one is here….except for me of course
What a brilliant weekend I had
the lovely gas bag took my BSB Saturday for a day of wine and chocolate, while I stayed home and had the place to myself. I must say that the majority of time was spent watching all the shows I now miss due to work. After a few hours of this I decided to actually get something done so I worked on my homepage, which I think looks rather good except now my picture under Fun Times isn’t working, of course.
Yesterday was even better, The Gang went for their bike ride out to the beach and back and then settled into a nice crab dinner.
Yes you heard that right, THE GANG had CRABS.
And I must say they were mighty tasty little creatures. We then watched the making of Hedwig and the Simpson’s while My Boy snored on the floor, too much wine for him. It was such a lovely way to spend
the day.
I have such great people in my life I must say.
So the time is finally here
It’s a Gorey, Gorey World has now moved to
http://nordlin.net/gorey
Hope to see you soon!
I’m alone
The world is whizzing by
Colors and sound surround me
Making me confused…lost
And then I smell you
You’re embedded in my skin
And it all rushes back to me
Your warmth fills me
Making me whole
Our legs entwined
Lips moist and eager
Heartbeats racing
Faster…Faster
Until, we are one
I’m off
to take my first class at the Learning Annex with the lovely and multitalented HJ.
Oh the fun we shall have!
I can’t believe I can actually Post again.
That’s what I get for being such a cheapskate.
So it’s all done.
I just booked my flight to Austin. I leave on Dec. 12 and return the 15th, a whirlwind tour.
I look forward to seeing my family and my hometown. My dad had a stroke a few months back so I’d really like to spend time with him and do what I need to to make sure that if something happened to him that we have said everything that needs to be said. I didn’t really want to take this trip right now but I got a free ticket from my fabulous cousin and it needed to be used before Dec. 31 so that is why I’m going all the way to Texas for such a short trip.
I haven’t been inspired to write much.
Things have been really busy at work which is when I get most of my blogging done. But I did just get off the phone with HJ and she signed up for the same writing class as me. So that should be loads of fun! I was hoping that she wanted to sign up for the Body Casting class with me so she could cast my left boob but oh well, I guess I’ll just have to cast a less provocative body part.
The fabulous HJ is also coming over this evening to teach me the ways of web design so my blog can become a Thing of Beauty. So you guys will have to check back later for the new look to go along with my new comments.
Yay, I got new comments
so now hopefully they will not be going down every other minute like my old ones & me and my friends can have many uninterrupted days of witty banter.
Oh, what I lovely evening we had last night.
BSB and I went for our usual walk in the park after work when we decided to make a detour and go for dinner at King of Thai Noodle House on Clement. There we had a tasty dinner of Thai fried rice with Chinese sausage and some noodle dish with green beans and ground pork. Very yummy! While we sat and chatted we decided that we really needed new books, like the hundreds of unread ones at home weren’t enough. So after eating we went to the most fabulous of bookstores Green Apple. We spent about an hour browsing the shelves, BSB finding lots of stuff he wanted while I was left to run around and try and find something I wanted to spend my hard earned cash on. Feeling that my time there was coming to a close I started to get a little frantic. “How could I go to a book store and not get anything?” Just then who would show up to help me in my moment of crisis none other than Marco the Magnificent. “How’s it going?” he asked. “I can’t find a book I want and it’s making me sad.”
“I have one for you” he said as he bounded up the stairs at the speed of light, me chased after him reaching the top step out of breath.
“Here, this is funny as fuck”
So I took it and it is.
Thank you kind Bookstore Boy for making my life just that much funnier!
So, I just signed up for my first class at the Learning Annex, it’s on writing children’s books. I’m also going to sign up for the class on Body Casting. I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve never taken a class through the Annex so I hope it is good. I just want to take a bunch of different classes that spark my imagination. It least that is what I’m shooting for.
Yay, for Creativity!
You know work really gets in the way of my day dreaming.
Life is strange…
and wonderful and full of pain and joy. It’s amazing to me that my day can have so many mixed emotions. So many little ups and downs and then these beautiful moments of clarity. Where everything just comes together and all the insecurities and self-doubt just melt away and I’m free. Free at least until someone comes to my desk and asks for something that is right under their nose, then I’m right back where I started from.
Life…
I know that I haven’t been writing as much but…
It really sucks that my comments keep going down.
I can’t even get any complaints. I hate not having my
Friends riveting comments on my blog.
Oh, what shall I do?
I had such a wonderfully Horrific time at HelenJane and Hilary’s abode.
I was so sorry I had to go. The only reason I did was because I had to be at work at 8:30 the next morning and I hadn’t gone to bed before midnight all week. My BSB and I were in costume and ready to go by the time the cab showed up with Dan aka CandyCornholio. HJ & Hilary really outdid themselves decorating the house. Everyone was there and having a great time. James looked fanfuckingtastic in his black velvet gown and three foot tall red wig, while the cutest award must go to Seymour aka Jeff. Both me and my BSB thought he was the cutest by far. Way to go Seymour! Looking Hot!
We spent hours talking, drinking and taking pictures with our friends. And then at the stroke of midnight I had to leave or turn into a pumpkin or pay the price of no sleep the next day. I must say that fun was had by all!
Thanks HelenJane and Hilary for such a fun evening!
