Brett, his brother, in town for a conference, and I went to pick up the keys for our new house on Tuesday. This was the first time that we saw the place empty and can I just tell you that my frigging closet is so much better than I first thought. The first time I saw it it was filled with clothes and this time empty it was so big and great and fabulous. O.k. you guys are going to see it and say, “Hapless this is nice but not that big of a deal.” To which I will have to say, “Well to me it is! Compared to what I have now, which is small and so full with stuff that I can’t find anything that isn’t fortunate enough to be in the first quarter of the closet.” To me it is the best. There are three drawers and a place to sit and put your shoes on and hooks and a couple of shelves on top for good measure. I just can't wait till I have all my stuff in it all organized just the way I like!
O.k. this is starting to piss me off. When will all my friends get their comments back?
I’m really tired of waiting!
You know I really hate it when these so called “Big Wigs” come into my office. They act like I’m an inconvenience to them, a little gnat buzzing around them, making them sign in and actually daring to talk to them. I’m sorry but I really don’t care who you think you are but I’m an actual person sitting behind this desk and I deserve to be treated like one!

An abbreviated list
I just got off the phone with one of my favoritest friends and she just told me that she is coming out for a visit at the end of May, YAY! I miss her very much and I’m so excited that she will be out here after we move into our new place. She will actually have a room to herself while she is here which is such a luxury I can barely stand it! No more waking up the guests when we have to leave for work or stepping over them on our way to the kitchen in the morning. Life is good!
So unfortunately my ride fell through yesterday but to make up for it my BSB made arrangements to check out our new house and helped me take a few boxes home. I have to say that it is as nice as I remembered and the view from almost every window is spectacular. We are going to have so much space that I’m almost a little freaked out. It’s a house and we have to keep it up like you would a house and I’ve never really lived in a house where I was the one in charge of upkeep, nothing major but still enough to freak me out a little. All the rooms are larger than I thought, which is fabulous, and the top floor is not as big as I thought but still has the amazing views and a very secluded deck, (I checked it out and no one can see you sunning naked) but the thing that I love bestest of all is the amazing closet that I have already claimed for myself. It is a walk-in with two doors so you can get in at either side and built in drawers. It isn’t humongous but compared to the tiny one I share with my BSB it really seems like it and I get it all to myself! The house was built in the 30’s so it has a few problems, nothing major but I don’t really like the carpet and the walls need painting but all in all it’s perfect for us.
I’m having a hard time believing that soon this is going to be our home!
Today I get picked up from work so I can start bringing home boxes for our move. I’m actually looking forward to packing (I can’t believe I just wrote that) and now we can finally get started. Oh, to be in a house that I actually want to hangout in is so very exciting to me. I can’t wait to have friends over and have dinner parties. My annual Halloween Slumber Party is so going to Rock this year!
Actually I haven’t been in this place for a couple of years and I really hope I still think it’s as cool as my imagination says it is. If not you guys will just have to lie to us and tell us that it is as fabulous as we have been saying.
I spent the weekend going to a Baby Shower and then a Bridal Shower. I wasn’t expecting much from the baby one but I ended up having a really good day. I saw people I hadn’t seen in a really long time and I had fun hanging with the kids. The bridal shower on the other hand I knew I was going to enjoy, which of course I did, as it was a Vice party and all of mine where there. We had lots of good food and Susie Q was there to help us in the art of self stimulation. Not that I really need any help in that area but it was neat to see what was new and to be able to ask questions on usage. Now I’m on a strict NO PLANS ON THE WEEKEND until we move into our new place, (except for Easter Brunch at the lady's house). I’m so excited about moving that I really don’t want to plan anything anyway so it works out fine for me. I can’t believe that we are moving in two weeks!

Things are a little crazy for me right now. My office is moving into a new, much improved building on Friday and I have been packing for the last week. I don’t have a lot of time so you probably won’t here from me for awhile due to the packing up and braking down that will be taking place for the next week or two. So you guys take care and know that you will be hearing from me very soon with all the detail of our new digs.
